Wayne Stec Wayne Stec serves as senior utility consultant for Spirae. With more than 29 years of
diverse experience in the electrical industry, he provides a wide-angle view of the industry and the critical
issues in end-user power management, power plants, distribution systems, and transmission systems. Wayne's
recent experience with end-users has included electric energy use analysis, power bill reduction, and design
of facility distribution systems. He has power plant experience with generation, generation control, and
balance of plant. In addition, he has worked on distribution and transmission systems as they relate to
system design, system protection, system control, communications, SCADA, metering, automated meter reading
(AMR), information technology, energy conservation, demand side products, and power quality. While employed
with General Electric and ABB, Wayne worked extensively with electric utilities, industrial facilities and
commercial enterprises to develop new solutions for system protection, system control, demand side W
management, and metering.
