Spirae takes a collaborative and open approach to communications and legacy equipment integration. Our solutions have the ability to integrate with DNP3, IEC61850, Modbus, OPC and numerous other protocols including analog signals. This includes integration with RTUs, SCADA systems, and numerous simulation software suites. The flexibility of this approach helps facilitate quick integration, cost-efficiency, and long-term value for our customers.
For example, depending on the particular need of a customer, it may be possible to achieve desired results with slow communications or, together, we may conclude that high-bandwidth, low-latency communications are preferable for the designed system. If a particular aspect of the project is driving additional cost or complexity, then we would jointly decide whether it is possible to modify the requirements of the system.
