With the click of a few buttons Wednesday afternoon, Gov. Bill Ritter launched Fort Collins’ Renewable and Distributed Systems Integration, or RDSI, demonstration project two years in the making. As Ritter took the program live, four flat-screen televisions buzzed to life illuminating the different RDSI partners and projects across Fort Collins that are part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s $6.3 million federal grant, which encompasses the demonstration year for the project aimed at developing new electric grid technologies.
